Raspberry Rally is the newest Girl Scout Cookie for 2023.
By Sharon Aron Baron
Girl Scouts have been selling cookies for over 100 years, making it one of the world’s longest-running and most successful girl-led entrepreneurship programs.
The first known sale of Girl Scout cookies took place in 1917 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and since then, the tradition has spread across the country.
In addition to providing delicious treats, the sale of Girl Scout cookies also helps fund troop activities and community service projects.
This year, the Raspberry Rally has joined the line-up of classic favorites, including Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs, as well as a selection of gluten-free options and new flavors like Lemon-ups, Adventurefuls, and S’mores.
Not only do these cookies bring joy to those who purchase them, but they also bring comfort to soldiers stationed overseas through the Cookies for the Military program. Since 2009, Girl Scouts have donated over 700,000 boxes of cookies to military personnel, reminding them that they are appreciated and not forgotten.
Cookie sales will take place until March 5, 2023, with prices ranging from $5 to $6 per box. To find a location near you, visit the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida website and enter your zip code.
To order them digitally, just visit Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida Digital Cookies.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or trying Girl Scout cookies for the first time, your support helps the next generation of girls build confidence and leadership skills through entrepreneurship.
