Woman Found in Coral Springs Canal Dies at Hospital

A woman found in a Coral Springs canal Monday night has died, according to police.
Coral Springs Police officers responded to the 9900 block of 15th Court around 8:52 p.m. and discovered an unconscious adult female in the canal, a police spokesperson said.
The woman was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.
Police said the incident remains under active investigation and no additional details are being made public as of Tuesday morning.
