Coral Springs newest restaurant, Your Pie, puts a new twist on an old favorite: completely customizable single-serving pizza pies.
Gone are the days of having to decide what toppings will go on your family’s pie. Dad may like pepperoni, mom may like onions, while the kids just like cheese.
At Your Pie, everyone gets their own pizza, made-to-order.
In an assembly line manner, not unlike Subway or Chipotle, customers tell employees whether they’d like white, wheat, or gluten-free dough, then choose between six sauces: barbecue, basil pesto, garlic, olive oil, hot or marinara. Then they choose between seven kinds of cheese: feta, fresh mozzarella, low-fat mozzarella, parmesan, mozzarella, ricotta, or vegan cheese. Next come the toppings, including vegetables and meats: anchovies, bacon, capicola, chicken, ham, pepperoni, tofu, turkey, and more.
After a customer is finished ordering, the pizza is baked in a 600-degree brick oven for four to six minutes.
All the main menu items are $7.99, which includes as many ingredients as you want. They also serve chopped salads, paninis, craft beer, and wine. And for those that would like dessert, they have a gelato bar, which also serves up a sorbet. For those cola aficionados, there’s even a Coke Freestyle machine allowing you to choose a variety of different flavors.
Founder Drew French, who was on hand during the grand opening, said that Coral Springs is the 26th restaurant in the franchise chain and was chosen because of the people, the community, and was an excellent fit for their brand.
Your Pie first opened in Athens, Georgia, in 2008, however, French said the idea really began two years prior where he experienced the brick oven style baking on the island of Ischia while on his honeymoon in Italy. Instead of a simple Italian souvenir, he was inspired to bring the entire rustic and delicious method back to the United States.
Raj and Pria Gobi from Coconut Creek, who, along with their two girls, waited in line to try the new restaurant. They said they loved the pizza and the whole concept of ordering exactly what they wanted.
On opening night, a line of customers went out the door. French said that Your Pie was donating a portion of their proceeds to Kids of Love.
“We’re always doing things with community organizations, we have a thing called ‘Benefit Night’ where we will donate a portion to a team or organization.”

We went a couple of days ago. The pizza is good, but not as good as Flash Fire.
