Get ready to tee off for a good cause.
The Coral Springs Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee is excited to announce the 15th Annual MLK Golf Classic, “Golfing for the King,” on Friday, March 10, at the Country Club of Coral Springs. This event promises a day of fun, excitement, and goodwill, all while raising funds for a noble cause.
Registration for the event will begin at 7 am, with the shotgun start scheduled for 8 am. Golf enthusiasts can register by paying a fee of $150 per person for a four-person scramble format. Participants will be treated to breakfast, lunch, beverages on the course, contests, tournament awards, and a signature gift pack.
Corporate foursomes can also participate by paying $1,500, which includes recognition as Par Sponsor on the event website, an exclusive hole sign, and a logo on the photo backdrop. It is an excellent opportunity to network and create business relationships while supporting a good cause.
The event is a fundraiser for the MLK Scholarship Fund, which has provided scholarships to more than 300 high school seniors based on financial need, regardless of ethnicity. The scholarship recipients can use the money to cover their tuition costs at any university or educational institution. This means that the participants get to enjoy a day of golf and contribute to the education of deserving students in the community.
The entry deadline for the event is Friday, March 3. For those interested in sponsorships and player participation, visit CoralSprings.gov/MLKGolf for more information.
So, whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just starting, this is your chance to show off your skills and support an excellent cause. Don’t miss the 15th Annual MLK Golf Classic “Golfing for the King”!
