Detectives are investigating a homicide in Coral Springs on Tuesday evening.
According to police, a call was received at 9:09 p.m. regarding a male resident with a gunshot wound to his chest at the 3800 block of NW 72nd Drive.
Coral Springs Police and Fire Rescue arrived on scene at 9:11 PM and discovered a male, later identified as Hicksbert Dwight Grant, 48, who was transported to Broward Health North where he was pronounced deceased. No further information regarding the incident or suspects is available at this time.
