The Coral Springs Police Department is working with Publix Supermarkets in identifying suspects that placed skimmers on ATM machines located outside the supermarkets.
According to Lieutenant Joe McHugh, on Friday, September 7 at approximately 2:20 p.m. a skimmer was discovered on the ATM outside the Publix located at 5950 Coral Ridge Drive. The skimmer was found by a customer who immediately notified management.

This is one of the skimmer devices discovered in Coral Springs. Inside is a camera that records your pin number.
Today at approximately 2:20 p.m. another skimmer was located on the ATM outside the Publix located at 8160 Wiles Road. The skimmer was located by management. Both skimmers were turned over to the police.
