Competing against the best in Broward County, Coral Springs Charter bowler Dalton Mason won the Senior Bowl Tournament on Monday.
Held at SpareZ In Davie, Mason enjoyed his time competing. “It’s good that they had this tournament, and it’s an honor to win it. The win makes me the number one senior in Broward County.”
For five years, Mason, who lives in Coral Springs, has bowled at Coral Springs Chatter and has been on the varsity team for four seasons. The highest score he has ever had in a game was 279, and his best series score was 695.
“It’s great to see Dalton finally at the top by himself,” said Head Coach Andy Groothius. “It’s a spot he’s earned growing through this program for the last five years. I’m incredibly proud of him.”
After Dalton graduates in the spring, he plans to study welding at a technical school.
