Cypress Park Baseball Field Gets Renovations Prior to CSC Baseball Season

Coral Springs Charter’s home baseball field at Cypress Park has a new look and it could not be done without the help of the City of Coral Springs.

The field is completely leveled with a brand new mound, fencing, and installation of a windscreen.

“This is really exciting, and I want to thank the City of Coral Springs,” said Head Coach Charlie Fine. “We are extremely excited for the season, and this is just another reason why I’m proud to be a Panther.”

The Panthers are coming off a season where they went 13-8, reaching the Regional Semifinals. This season, the team returns their ace and Flagler college signee, A.J. Prendergast, and eight other seniors in Robert Boing, Haiden Walters, Derek Kreisler, Mason Phillips, Carson Dircks, Anthony Fiore, Brayden Costanzo, and Hunter Stolov.

The Panthers will have their first game at their new field on Wednesday, February 23, where they will be facing Calvary Christian Academy —the team that beat the Panthers in the District Final. CSC plays 25 games this year highlighted by matchups with J.P. Taravella, Cypress Bay, Coral Glades, and Monarch High School.
