Vegans, rejoice: Meatless subs have arrived at your local Publix.
Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli’s “Roasted Turk’y” is now available in subs at all Publix deli locations, according to the plant-based meats company. Its official name is the “Meatless Turkey Club Sub” and can be made hot, cold, or in a wrap, according to Unreal.
The sandwich features meatless turkey and bacon, vegan cheese and ranch, tomatoes, and lettuce. It retails for $6.29 for a half sub and $8.99 for a full one.
“We’re so excited to expand the availability of Unreal Deli’s products into Publix deli counters, giving plant-curious customers another place to experience our tasty products,” said Jenny Goldfarb, Founder of Unreal Deli. “Growing up in Florida, Pub Subs were a fixture of my upbringing and taught me the true definition of an awesome sandwich. It’s a dream that Unreal Deli’s products are now a part of the esteemed Publix deli experience.”
Goldfarb’s brand gained national notoriety and expanded rapidly following her 2019 appearance on the ‘Shark Tank.’
Goldfarb grew up on deli food: Her great-grandfather, Morris Gross, immigrated from Romania to New York City in 1907, working his way up to own and operate several New York delis and cafeterias.
She became a vegan after seeing videos about animal cruelty in the meat industry and learned to make deli food with meatless ingredients.

Go woke, go broke
Publix not in danger of going broke anytime soon. Meatless “Turkey” at publix is one choice among many. Its not my choice but I also prefer roast beef over salami.
