The Coral Springs Charter marching band has been doing well in competitions.
The Panthers’ marching band won first place in the Falcon Sound Invitational competition among smaller schools, earning a 64.6 score for its show known as “The Hive.” This is considered very high, according to band director David Cardona.
“Our students learned the show and performed well during the competition,” said Cardona.
Zoe Gobbi, the drum major and first chair trombone player, is proud of the band. “We have a good program and everyone in the band is committed to doing well. I love being a leader in the Charter band,” she said.
Jana Lee, a flute player and a leader of the wind section, said she is proud to be a member of the band. “We have a good band and do well in competitions. We are a big family,” she said.
