Job seekers and employers in Coral Springs have a new event to anticipate this month.
Better Together, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and communities, is teaming up with New Springs Church to host a community job fair on Thursday, November 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Coral Springs Church, located at 11464 W. Sample Road in Coral Springs.
The event aims to connect job seekers with local employers actively looking to hire while providing valuable resources to enhance job search efforts.
Registration is now open for hiring employers and job seekers, and interested individuals can sign up at BetterTogetherUS.org/Events/CSprings-JF or by texting “JOBS” to 844-987-3949.
One of the standout features of this job fair is the free one-on-one job coaching sessions available to job seekers. These sessions will focus on reviewing resumes and improving interviewing skills, giving attendees a competitive edge in the job market.
Additionally, various support services will be available on-site to assist job seekers in their pursuit of employment.
Better Together’s community job fairs are part of their “Better Jobs” program, which has helped over 39,000 applicants connect with job opportunities across 22 states.
According to Better Together, previous job fairs resulted in two-thirds of attendees securing job interviews and one in four receiving job offers on the spot. An impressive 70% of job seekers find work within six weeks of attending a Better Together job fair.
For churches interested in hosting similar events, Better Together provides information on their website at BetterTogetherUS.org.
