Jennifer Levi, a candidate for Coral Springs City Commission Seat 4, announced this week that she has received endorsements from several current and former elected officials in Broward County.
Levi said she has been endorsed by Coral Springs Commissioner Joe McHugh, former Coral Springs mayors Vince Boccard and Jeanne Mills, Margate Commissioner Tommy Ruzzano, and Coconut Creek Commissioner John Brodie.
A resident of Coral Springs for 12 years, Levi is seeking to replace Commissioner Joshua Simmons, who was first elected in 2018 and is currently serving a term that began in November 2022 and runs through 2026.
In a statement released by Levi’s campaign, McHugh supports her candidacy because of shared priorities.
“Jennifer is not a politicianm she is a mom raising her kids in Coral Springs,” McHugh said. “So many of my goals align with Jennifer’s goals, including public safety, maintaining our parks, keeping our children safe in schools, and fiscal responsibility. Jennifer is very aware of how to manage a budget. I know she will lead with integrity and professionalism.”
Levi also recently held a campaign kickoff event that drew more than 150 attendees, according to campaign organizers.
Levi holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Florida and works as the human resources director for a local small business. She also chairs the Chabad Friendship Circle Parent Committee and serves on the Coral Springs Accessibility Advisory Committee.

Her campaign platform highlights priorities including public safety, fiscal responsibility, and maintaining city services, parks, and infrastructure while keeping taxes low.
Levi also emphasizes preserving Coral Springs’ quality of life through strong schools, recreation opportunities, senior services, accessibility initiatives, and thoughtful downtown development.
“I am honored to have the support of these respected community leaders and truly humbled by the incredible turnout of over 150 supporters at our kickoff event,” Levi said in a statement. “Coral Springs is the city we love, and I’m committed to leading with integrity.”
So far, Levi and Jeff Adelman have announced their decision to run for the seat.
