Coral Glades baseball continues to give back to the community, spending time on the field with the Coral Springs Clippers 10u team at Mullins Park on August 14.
The varsity players worked with the Clippers on bunt defense, first and third defense, picks offs, bunting, baserunning, and situational hitting.
“As a high school head coach, I feel it’s important to have your players represent their school not only on the field and the classroom but out in the community as well,” Head Coach Joe Franco said. “To see my players help coach 10u student-athletes on the baseball field makes me a proud coach.”
For Jackson Franco, he also says it was a pretty unique experience to learn from the varsity team.
“Practicing with the Coral Glades varsity baseball players has helped me a lot with my game because they show my teammates and me the right way to play the game of baseball,” Jackson said.
The varsity baseball team will continue their prep for the season after winning 12 during the 2023 season.
