For over 50 years, the Coral Springs American Little League (CSALL) has been a vital part of the community, teaching baseball and instilling values like teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship in generations of young athletes.
As Coral Springs’s oldest chartered baseball league, CSALL remains a trusted organization that brings families together through the joy of America’s favorite pastime.
The upcoming 2024 spring season marks the league’s 54th year, and preparations are underway. Registration, which began November 1, will remain open until January 5. Practices will start on February 1, and games will kick off in early March.
All practices and games will take place at Mullins Park, the league’s home field.
This season, the league introduces exciting updates to its eligibility rules. For players aged 4 to 7, Little League has removed boundary restrictions, allowing families from neighboring cities like Tamarac, Parkland, Sunrise, and Margate to join CSALL.
League President Tony Juliano shared the importance of this change.
“For our youngest players, families now have more freedom to choose the league that best fits their needs. It’s a wonderful opportunity to welcome more kids into our baseball community and watch our league grow.”
The league’s commitment to competitive excellence has been evident in recent years. CSALL’s 50/70 All-Star team won the District 10 and Section 8 championships, finishing as runners-up in the Florida State Championship. Meanwhile, the league’s 8U teams have secured the District 10 8U Select title two years in a row.
“These successes reflect the hard work of our players, coaches, and volunteers,” said Juliano. “It’s inspiring to see their efforts pay off, both on and off the field.”
While competitive accomplishments are important, CSALL’s focus goes beyond winning. The league prides itself on creating a positive and inclusive environment where players of all abilities can learn and grow. Players form lasting friendships through skill development, sportsmanship, and team building and create memories that extend far beyond the diamond.
Looking ahead, Juliano expressed his excitement for the league’s future.
“We’ve built something truly special over the years. With our dedicated volunteers and new leadership stepping up, I’m confident CSALL will continue to thrive for decades to come.”
Whether your child is stepping up to the plate for the first time or returning for another season, CSALL has a place for them.
Registration is open now for the following divisions:
• Tee Ball (ages 4-6): $150
• Ages 7-16: $195
Registration closes Sunday, January 5, so don’t miss the chance to be part of this long-standing tradition.
