The Coral Springs Charter football team began the week with a win over J.P. Taravella High School and recognized more seniors.
The Panthers improved to 3-5 this season behind three touchdowns from Carter Hayden before their matchup on Friday against Marjory Stoneman Douglas. The Eagles recently picked their first win of the year, defeating Coral Springs High School in the Pig Bowl.
J.P. Taravella fell to 0-8 and will be right back in action on Wednesday against Coleman High School before they play their final game of the year against Coral Springs High School on November 1 at 7 p.m
The swim team is set to compete in the District Championship on Monday, October 28, and recently honored their seniors, Skyler Davy, Anabel Holt, Ilana Kuritz, and Beylian DeJesus. The cross-country team also recognized DeJesus, Mason Grech, Abby Foster, Marissa Micioni, Mackenzie Maniscalco, Aliyah Rhoden, Natalia Gallo, and Jasmine Grbic.
Natalie Conte led Coral Springs Charter with an 87 in golf, while Leah Costa and Isabella Goodman competed at the Country Club of Coral Springs. They will play there again next week in the District Championship.
