Hi Coral Springs!
I just wanted to check in and say hello! I want to begin by saying thank you to all the medical professionals out there on the frontlines battling this horrendous virus. We all have placed our faith and hope in your commitment to our health and community. It is my hope that the State of Florida will make sure that none of you are working without proper protective equipment. You are the heroes of this historic and world-changing moment.
To the residents of Coral Springs, I want to reassure you all that your city is working 24/7, making sure that you have the most up to date information. On a daily basis, we are all getting flooded with changing information, but your city is working tirelessly to make sure you get the most accurate and true information.
Your city is continuously in contact with the most vulnerable in our community. We are always discussing how we can continue to support our small business community as they are struggling tremendously during this time. Your city is also making sure that we stay in constant contact with our city healthcare providers to keep a strong working relationship that will only benefit the people of our city. We have worked to make sure utilities and other needed commodities remain stable during this crisis.
You should all know that your safety and health is our number one concern. We have been forward-thinking and have led the charge of building working relationships with neighboring cities that have produced recent “safer at home” orders. We have one of the best city administrations in the county, and right now, we are showing it. If you do not follow the city social media pages, I would advise you to do so.
Lastly, I want to say thank you to everyone in the city who are taking all the precautions and have stayed at home. Some of us are very fortunate to have good health and the ability to remain comfortably at home. I will ask that you think of those who are not in the same position as us, myself included.
We are all making sacrifices together, and when I am home, I think about how great it is that we are bonding through adversity and doing our part in helping our city, state, and country move through this crisis. I am so proud of everyone in this city. We are redefining what being a good neighbor means. I know this is difficult and uncomfortable, but we will absolutely get through this together.

This is what’s needed true dedication to the people. He understands that we work together as a community and gives an encouraging word to the people who are fighting a battle in our country. Its important that we put more of an emphasis on people who can actually change and grow the city to newer heights then just the average. I’m very impressed with his purposefulness to the city of coral springs. For goodness sake he educated our children’s minds while we working adults worked in order to provides for our family. ”OUTSTANDING”!!!
Other than use this publication as a free platform to campaign from, and other than pandering to those protesting against the police, and other than having a baby out of wedlock, what has he done? Zip.
Meetu you are so full of hate. Commissioner Simons is communicating HOPE to the community that he represents. I am confident that this publication would allow the other CS Commissioners and the Mayor to use this platform to communicate with CS citizens. Also, i see nothing in the article were Commissioner Simons is pandering to those protesting the police. Looking at your plethora of comments on previous articles in Coral Springs Talk, all we see is hateful and divisive comments. John Locke, the philosopher, would be ashamed of your lack of reason and tolerance.
THIS LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER “CONTRIBUTION IN KIND” TO THE JOSHUA SIMMONS CAMPAIGN
We need to get rid of this guy next time around.
