Take a night off from cooking and join the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department and Firefighters Benevolent Association for their annual Cancer Awareness Pasta Dinner.
Held on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Participants can dine inside one of Coral Springs’ largest fire stations and will be served by fire personnel and volunteers.
Several fire rescue vehicles and apparatus will be on display at the event to provide residents an opportunity to look at important life-saving equipment used by the department. This year’s event marks the first time in two years that the event has been held in its traditional form.
“We have been waiting for the right time to bring this event back to showcase our equipment and personnel while raising money for an important cause,” said Fire Chief Michael McNally. These types of community events are what make Coral Springs a premier community in which to live, work and raise a family.”
The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Fire Station 80 at 2825 Coral Springs Drive, and tickets are $8 per person.
Meals include pasta with homemade firehouse sauces, salad, bread, and beverages. Proceeds from the event will benefit the University of Miami Sylvester Firefighters Cancer Initiative and the Benevolent Fund.
The Coral Springs Professional Firefighters Benevolent Association is a non-profit organization that includes members of the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department.

The group is made up of members from suppression (firefighters), prevention (inspectors), and administration (chiefs and assistants). The Benevolent Association provides support and services internally to members and externally to the community through select contributions.
