A former employee of Fiserv was arrested after police say she made a series of violent social media posts threatening to shoot and kill current employees.
According to a Coral Springs Police arrest report, Anise Victoria Alvarez, 44, of Miami, was taken into custody on October 11 and charged with making written or electronic threats to kill or do bodily injury.
Investigators say Alvarez, who had been fired from her position at Fiserv -- a global financial technology and payments company located in Coral Springs-- earlier this year, posted a string of alarming messages on her Threads account, @MZ_MAVAM, on the afternoon of her arrest. Some posts mentioned the company remains available to view.
The posts allegedly included statements such as “There is absolutely no calming me down,” “I want everyone around me to die immediately,” and “Every delay will ensure I drive faster and get that gun.”
A final post allegedly read, "Every single person who follow or shows up will die a horrible death."
Fiserv’s security team, already monitoring Alvarez’s social media due to prior incidents, discovered the threats and immediately contacted law enforcement. Coral Springs Police responded to the company’s offices at 4000 Coral Ridge Drive, where Fiserv’s security director briefed them.
Investigators said Alvarez’s Threads account posted photos of a receipt from Lou’s Police Distributors in Hialeah, showing the purchase of a Glock 43X 9mm pistol just hours earlier. The order, placed under Alvarez’s name, listed her Miami address and was scheduled for pickup the following week.
CSPD obtained confirmation from Meta that the Threads account belonged to Alvarez, matching her verified email, phone number, and date of birth.
Later that evening, officers spotted Alvarez driving through the parking lot of the Fiserv building. When officers approached, she reportedly told them she wanted to “take one last photograph of the parking lot.” She was arrested without incident.
During a subsequent search of her vehicle, police found the duplicate gun purchase receipts seen in her online posts.
Alvarez was arrested and booked into the Broward County Main Jail.
