Coral Springs’ popular salon, GlamBar, is rebranding as Alchemy Park and expanding into franchising. It is embracing a fresh identity and vision for the future.
Erin Martin, founder and CEO of GlamBar, is excited to unveil the salon’s new name on October 1 as part of the expansion. “In the past five years, we’ve grown and evolved, and expanding through franchising felt like the right move,” she said. “When we needed a trademark for this, we discovered that ‘Glambar’ couldn’t be trademarked, leading us to change the name.”
Martin shared that choosing the new name for the business was not a task she took lightly. “We wanted a name that reflects our core values: transformation and community,” she said. “’Alchemy’ represents magical change, while ‘Park’ symbolizes a place where the community comes to relax, unwind, and gather. Together, it perfectly captures our vision of creating a space for connection and positive change.”
Although still very much rooted in blow-dry, makeup, and special event styling, the salon now specializes in custom hair extensions and offers full color services. “This allows us to be there for both the big moments in our community residents’ lives and their everyday routines,” Martin noted.
She revealed bold plans for the business, stating it’s time to disrupt the salon and franchise industry by prioritizing leadership. “Instead of faceless chains, the future is about fostering community, where like-minded people can connect and celebrate each other’s triumphs,” Martin said.
To kick off the name change, Alchemy Park is offering a new blow-dry membership deal.
The salon is located at 5635 Coral Ridge. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
