Coral Springs is getting ready to put its diverse menu of restaurants on full display.
To showcase the diverse array of cuisine in Coral Springs, the city’s Economic Development Office is hosting “Yappy Hour” and “Savor the Springs” between Oct. 1 and Oct. 10, where participating restaurants offer deals and special menus.
Kristi Bartlett, Economic Development Office director, remembers how last year was difficult for local businesses and restaurants due to COVID-19.
“[This is] why it’s so important our residents help support them while enjoying their local favorites or by checking out new restaurants here in the city.”
Yappy Hour Friday Night
Savor the Springs is part of Restaurant Week, and kicks off Friday, Oct. 1, with Yappy Hour at the ArtWalk. The event lasts from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. with music, food trucks, dog treats, and samples from participating restaurants.
The musical act fis Yacht Rock Band, whose professional musicians and vocalists pay tribute to the music fans know and love. They recreate timeless classics by Hall & Oates, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Paul Simon, Seals & Crofts, America, and Little River Band, as well as the biggest “one-hit-wonders” of that era like “Brandy,” “Baby Come Back,” “Dancin’ In The Moonlight” and “Thunder Island.”
Food vendors are Joe Joe On the Go, Chicago Me Up, Cecilie’s Italian Ices, NY Phat Pies, The Cook, and the Cork, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Crocante Café Gourmet Bakery, and Gyroville.
Activities include Photobooth for people and pups and Balloon Twister.
