Coral Glades Boys Lacrosse. {David Volz}
The postseason of lacrosse is coming up, which means that the seniors have one last chance to compete on their home field.
The Coral Glades girls team held senior night on March 13. They recognized Joneyshka Rivera, Tristyn Deherrera, Domino Dicarlo, Natalya Gutierrez, Gabriela Diaz, Alexandra Munson, Isabella Brizuela, Nayely-Britney Dinaou, Abigail Forsyth, Camryn Poole, Gianna Cupo, Briana Brown, Lily Zuniga, Rachel Backer and Sarah Zoughai.
The Jaguars have wins against Pompano Beach and Cooper City High School after the team scored a combined 25 goals in the two games. They have lost to Western, NSU University, North Broward Prep, South Plantation, Cooper City, and Spanish River Community High School.
The Coral Glades boys team held Senior Night on March 13. They honored Joseph Torregrosa, Austin Allison, Ayden Lockhart, Jorge Galvez, Austin Brucker, Jacob Wolfe, Cameron Hartung, Tyler Gordon, Sterling Sanabria, Ryan Steinberg, Alex Nemargut Ethan Schwartz and Brian Nemargut.
They also won 8-7 behind four goals from Allison. Steinberg scored three, while Hartung added one. Brucker and Ayden Lockhart-Nemargut combined for four assists.
They also won against J.P. Taravella, who recently had their final home game of the season on Wednesday in a matchup against West Boca Raton High School. They previously earned their first win against Coral Springs High School on March 14.
The Colts will honor their seniors on Thursday in their game against West Boca Raton High School. Their seniors are Dane Bezet, Camden Hulse, Christoper Belfort, Peter Phan, James Gustave, Nick Brock, James Defreitas, Brian Planas and Titus Johnson. CSHS will play its final game of the regular season on Wednesday, March 26, against Immokalee High School at 5 p.m.
