Families seeking a high-quality preschool option for young children are invited to explore the Junior Jags Pre-K Program at Coral Glades High School, which is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 school year.
Designed for 3- and 4-year-olds, the full-day Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) and Pre-K program offers an award-winning early childhood education experience focused on school readiness, social development, and learning through play.
At Junior Jags, children are immersed in a safe, joyful environment where they build confidence, form friendships, and develop essential academic and life skills. Certified teachers guide students through hands-on activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and early literacy while nurturing emotional growth.
The program is staffed by teachers who hold bachelor’s degrees or higher and Florida teaching certification with a specialization in early childhood education. A full-time teacher assistant is also present in the classroom, and the program partners with an early childhood certification program to support high instructional standards.
Junior Jags Pre-K serves children who will be 3 or 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2026. A VPK certificate is optional for 4-year-olds, and tuition information is available for families seeking additional details. Extended hours are offered from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The program is located at Coral Glades High School, 2700 Sportsplex Drive, in Coral Springs.
Families are encouraged to schedule a tour, learn more about the curriculum, and reserve a seat for the upcoming school year. Applications are available online at browardschools.com/vpkapplication.
For more information, families may contact the school directly at 754-322-1250 or via email at brian.jassem@browardschools.com.
