
BCAA All Star Volleyball Game. {BCAA}
Following a strong athletic season in Coral Springs, several student-athletes from local high schools were selected to compete in the BCAA All-Star Games.
At Coral Springs High School, the girls’ volleyball team was represented by Christi Alonso, who helped lead the Lady Colts to five victories this season. The football team had three selections in Valentino Matthieu, Dylan Senior, and Ivan Becker, with the Colts’ lone win coming against J.P. Taravella. Anabelle Camargo and Lynnae Rolle were chosen to represent the cheerleading squad.
Coral Glades High School saw Maya Ramos earn all-star honors from the girls’ volleyball team after a standout season in which the Lady Jaguars also won five matches. The football team finished 6–5 and reached the postseason for the first time under their current head coach. Romero Williams, Anthony Casseus, and Jordan Roberts were selected, while Isabelle Infante and Alyssa Onofre represented cheerleading.
Coral Springs Charter School featured seven student-athletes. The girls’ volleyball team selections included Samantha McMillan, Mia Luersen, and Isabella Nilsson. McMillan and Luersen led the team in kills, while Nilsson recorded 183 assists as the Panthers finished the season 16–9. Football players Noah Yarbrough, Will Price, and Michael Streaded were selected after Charter went 5–6 and qualified for the playoffs. Jasmyn Martin represented the cheerleading team.
At J.P. Taravella High School, the volleyball program was well represented as Makayla Smith and Reshannaye Elliot were selected. At the same time, Andrea Villar earned the opportunity to coach in the All-Star Game. The Trojans won 12 matches this season. On the football side, Kaden Lawrence, Myrlinski Jean-Charles, and Eddie James Jr. were chosen following a season in which Taravella earned its first win since 2023. Alyssa Rodelo and Aiden Ryscik were selected from the cheerleading team.
