Luke Valentine, a former Big Brother contestant and Coral Springs resident, went on Instagram Live to discuss his eviction from the show for using the N-Word.
Valentine, one of 17 houseguests competing for the $750,000 grand prize, blamed his lack of sleep and hunger. Using the show’s first week, he volunteered to be a “Have Not,” which consists of eating slop, taking cold showers, and uncomfortable sleeping arrangements.
“I’m not upset at the production,” Valentine said during his Instagram Live in Cuba. “Their hands were tied. They had to make a sacrifice. I understand why. It’s upsetting. I think a slap on the wrist would have been a much better thing because they’re still getting backlash.”
Valentine plans to continue working as a digital illustrator and says he has not watched the show since his abrupt exit.
