Lafayett Lee {BSO}
A 38-year-old man was arrested by Coral Springs Police Tuesday for allegedly texting sexually explicit photos and video of his ex-girlfriend to her children, according to court records.
Lafayett Lee of Pembroke Pines is charged with two counts of sexual cyberharassment and one count of transmitting material harmful to minors. He was being held on a $40,000 bond Wednesday at the Broward Main Jail.
According to police, Lee was in a romantic relationship with the victim, a Coral Springs resident, for about three-and-a-half years before their relationship ended in December.
Lee allegedly sent five explicit photos of the woman, plus a video with similar content, to her three kids shortly after their breakup, according to an arrest affidavit.
The victim reported the crimes to police, who had the victim phone Lee and confront him about the images he’d allegedly sent her kids, the affidavit states.
“That was low as f— how you sent all them (sic) nude videos and s— to my kids,” the victim said, according to the document.
“That was low as f— what you did,” Lee allegedly replied, without denying the victim’s claims.
Court records did not indicate whether Lee had entered a plea in the case.
