Ocean One Bar and Grille, a Coral Springs restaurant best known for its $5.99 lunch menu items, has closed.
The eatery’s Google listing on Monday said the location is “temporarily closed,” and the restaurant was not listed among the locations on the restaurant chain’s website. Ocean One Bar and Grille lists other locations in Delray Beach, Dania Beach, and Las Vegas.
The phone number for the closed Coral Springs location at 2444 University Drive was not in service on Monday.
Company representatives did not immediately respond to emails and social media messages seeking information.
In March, the restaurant was ordered shut down by health inspectors following a complaint inspection that discovered 14 violations, many repeated, including the presence of live flying insects in various areas of the kitchen, food storage areas, and bar area.
The restaurant was ordered to remain closed until all violations were corrected and it was deemed safe to reopen. It was unclear Monday whether the inspection played a role in the eatery’s closure.
