Jabarri Joseph
Jabarri Joseph has enjoyed his time at Coral Springs High School.
As the outgoing Student Government Association (SGA) President, Joseph was also the president of District Six of the Florida Association of Student Councils, which includes schools in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties.
Reflecting on these roles, Joseph said, “Being president of District Six is something I am proud of. I was able to run the district meeting and network with student leaders from the region.”
Throughout the year, Joseph worked to make sure school was enjoyable. He led the homecoming festivities, pep rallies, and other fun activities at Coral Springs.
He was the founder and president of the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project at the school, serving for two years. Joseph also won the Shine On! Award from the City of Coral Springs for his school.
“I give a lot of credit to Casandra Brice, the advisor for SGA. She believed in me and encouraged me to run for president,” said Joseph.
Looking toward the future of SGA, Joseph said incoming SGA President Donny Vo and Vice President Ruben Castillo will be good leaders.
As he moves on from Coral Springs High, Joseph’s next chapter is at Florida International University, where he plans to pursue legal studies.
