This week, the Humane Society of Broward County has some wonderful pets to choose from. All adoptions include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, a microchip, treatment for flea and ticks, and much more.
Nelda
If you looking for a great family dog to spoil, meet Nelda (ID 650484). This adorable girl is waiting to meet you at the Humane Society of Broward County. She is four, and the volunteers say she is super sweet, walks well on a leash, loves everyone, and has a happy personality.
She is curious, will follow you around, and appears potty-trained. She would love to be your forever Valentine. Stop by to meet her, and we know you too will fall in love.
Shadow and Panther
Adorable Shadow (ID 651461) and his camera-shy brother Panther are looking for a home where they can stay together. Sadly, they were given up because someone was allergic to them. The pair are good with kids and birds but might be shy around dogs.
Both enjoy watching TV with you, and they like to play with each other. Panther is more reserved until he gets to know you, while Shadow is more out-going. You can adopt the duo and pay one adoption fee that way. This family can stay together.
Adopt
To meet these pets, fill out a pre-adoption application online at www.humanebroward.com. Once completed, visit the shelter located at 2070 Griffin Road, a block west of I-95, opening daily at 11 a.m. For questions, call 954-989-3977 ext. 6
Adoptions are $300 for puppies five months and younger, $150 for dogs six months and older, $100 for kittens five months and younger, and $40 for cats six months and older (Adopt one, get one free).
