When Paulie arrived at the shelter without his litter-mates, it was clear that this super-sweet, gentle 7-month-old boy was going to need a lot of tender loving care before he started looking for his forever home.Â
Paulie was having a terrible allergic reaction to something, and his skin was itchy and raw. He was so uncomfortable that he didn’t show any interest in his food — and certainly faced an uphill battle.Â
His personality remained endearing and captivating, though, and he was scooped up by a rescue – and loved the feeling of being wanted. Now Paulie is looking for a foster home, or even a foster-to-adopt home, where he can gain a little weight and start to relax, play with toys and enjoy his puppyhood again.Â
If you would like to give Paulie that chance, please contact his rescue, www.Popopitbulls.org, or email lauren@lturnerlaw.com.
