Women of all faiths have an opportunity to create and bake their own bread for a great cause.
On Thursday October 26, at 7:30 p.m., women of all ages and affiliations can support breast cancer research at a Mega Challah Bake where they will mix and knead dough by hand and braid their own challah.
Challah, which is white leavened bread traditionally baked to celebrate the Jewish sabbath, serves to strengthen the bond and unity that women have with one another.
Join hundreds of women for an elegant evening with a pasta and salad bar to follow. Guests will be able to discover the secret to great tasting challah and explore the beauty of the challah baking tradition. Sponsor someone for $36 or be a sponsor for $360 to make a greater financial contribution, enabling many more that cannot afford to attend. The proceeds will benefit Hadassah’s Breast Cancer Research and the Mikvah Renovation fund.
The Mega Challah Bake takes place at the Temple Beth Am Social Hall at 7205 Royal Palm Boulevard, Margate, Fl 33063. Coral Springs residents invited. Make sure to RSVP at www.CSchallahbake.com.
