Move over, SpongeBob SquarePants. A new Krabby Patty is coming to town.
Coral Springs will soon welcome Crafty Crab Seafood, a popular seafood restaurant known for its Southern hospitality, authentic recipes, and its signature New Orleans-style low country boil.
The restaurant chain currently has locations all over Florida (and elsewhere), including Sunrise, Ft. Lauderdale, Lauderhill, and Boynton Beach, serving up crab, crawfish, calamari, and lobster made fresh daily.
Coral Springs resident Steven A. Schendler first noticed a large trailer with boxes labeled “Crafty Crab” parked in the Magnolia Shops and activity at the former Ruby Tuesday’s location.
“I am very excited about a new restaurant in Coral Springs,” exclaimed the frequent restaurant-goer.
Schendler is thrilled that the long-dormant Ruby Tuesday’s location has found an occupant and hopes that the community supports the Crafty Crab restaurant.
Coral Springs Vice Mayor Joy Carter confirmed the forthcoming restaurant opening.
“They are going to be in that location, and they are currently doing interior renovations,” said Carter.
No word on an opening date. Crafty Crab will be located at 9511 Westview Dr. in Coral Springs near the Regal Magnolia Place.
