A second Wingstop location is on the way to Coral Springs, with the popular chicken wing chain confirming plans to open a new restaurant later this year near Heron Bay.
The upcoming location will be at 5972 Coral Ridge Drive, just a few doors down from the Publix Supermarket at Sawgrass Center. The restaurant is slated to take over the former Max Johnson Salon space and will sit next to NY Pizza Place.
A tentative opening timeline is reportedly set for late September or early October, though construction schedules could impact the exact date.
The new restaurant will mark Wingstop’s second location in Coral Springs, joining its existing spot at 8032 Wiles Road.
According to Wingstop, they were founded in 1994 in Garland, Texas. The restaurant has since grown into a global fast-casual brand with more than 2,000 locations worldwide. The chain specializes in cooked-to-order chicken wings, tenders, and sandwiches, and has built a loyal following around its lineup of 12 bold flavors, including fan favorites like Lemon Pepper and the fiery Atomic.
