2 First-Place Finishes and Multiple School Records For CSC Highlight Incredible Run at BCAA Championship

Kednall Parrott and Adrianna Harris of Coral Springs Charter led the girl's track and field team in the BCAA Championship on Friday at Coral Springs High School.
Parrott came in first in the 3200 meters, while Harris won the shot put to help the team place fourth overall. Trinity Dorvil also shined, coming in second in the shot put, with Harris also placing third in the discus and Mackenzie Maniscalco in third in the javelin.
The 4 x 800 relay team, which included Lily Richardson, Alyson Thomas, Kendall Parrott, and Taylor Hartley, came in fifth. Ava Dorvil, Sarah Manigat, Jordin Sawyer, and Sidney Leath placed ninth in the 4 x 100 relay, and Lily Richardson, Chelsea Garbizo, Lily Ward, and Sarah Manigat finished 12th in the 4 x 400 relay. All three teams broke school records.
Lilia Conticello continues her strong season with a seventh-place finish in the pole vault. Anayah Bell came in ninth in two events and top-ten finishes from Thomas and Sydney McDougall. Sarah Manigat, Ryle Gentile, and Sophia Liana all qualified.
The boy's team only had a few student-athletes compete but saw success from Chase Powell in the pole vault. He came in seventh, while Drew Maniscalco and Jordan Head placed 12th, and Daylan Martineau came in 15th. Will Urena placed 13th in the triple jump, and the team placed 25th.
The boys' and girls' teams will continue to prepare for the postseason, including the District, Regional, and State Championships.
