The Ramblewood Middle School PTO is holding a shoe drive to raise money and provide footwear for people in need, organizers said.
The main drop-off box for shoes is located in the school office at 8505 W. Atlantic Blvd. in Coral Springs.
Other drop-off boxes are located at Wings Plus Ramblewood, 1235 N. University Dr.; Zona Fresca, 1410 N. University Dr.; and The Melting Pot, 10374 W. Sample Rd.
Organizers said the shoe drive began on September 1 and will end on October 1.
“Help us raise funds just by donating gently worn, used and new shoes! Be sure to ask, friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to donate too,” the drive organizers said in a written announcement. “Collected shoes not only help support us, but they will be reused and given a second life by those in need.”
