Haley Swickle is a leader among her classmates at Coral Glades High School.
A senior with a 5.2 grade point average and 5th in her class of about 630 students, Swickle is president of the Broward County Student Government Association (SGA) and the Coral Glades SGA.
She looks forward to the challenge of being a leader. “I have presided over meetings of more than 400 SGA members from every school in Broward, and we have hosted county events. At Coral Glades, I work with the school administration and the students,” said Swickle.
As the Coral Glades SGA president, Swickle leads many of the school’s events, such as pep rallies and homecoming.
A member of HOSA Future Health Professionals, she enjoys studying biology and is helping to prepare for health-oriented events. Swickle wants to attend Duke University and pursue a career in the healthcare field.
As a captain of the Coral Glades football cheerleading team, Swickle enjoys promoting school spirit and cheering on the team. She is also a member of the school’s competitive cheerleading team.
Noelle Brooks, a senior, is a top academic student. She has a 5.3 grade point average, is ranked third in her class, and enjoys studying algebra.
She is the vice president of public relations in DECA and has an interest in business.
“I am focused on doing the best I can, and I am dedicated to academics. I want to pursue accounting at the University of Florida,” she said.
Brooks, captain of the football cheerleading team and a member of the competitive cheerleading team, loves being a leader on campus.
