Comedian and radio personality Rickey Smiley is bringing his stand-up tour to Coral Springs Center for the Arts this summer.
“Rickey Smiley Live” is scheduled for Friday, June 19, at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m., according to the venue’s event listing.
Smiley is known nationally as host of “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,” a syndicated radio program that earned him the Marconi Award for Best Radio Personality. He has also starred in television shows, comedy specials, and films, including “Friday After Next” and “Baggage Claim.”
The veteran comedian recently released his comedy special “FOOL-ISH,” filmed in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. His performances often feature fan-favorite characters such as “Bernice Jenkins,” “Lil’ Daryl,” and “Beauford.”
Smiley has performed for more than three decades and continues to tour nationally, appearing on major comedy tours and on theater stages across the country.
Tickets for the Coral Springs performance are on sale through the venue’s box office and official website.
