Gentle Ben has no business being in the mean world of politics. He’s just too much of a softie. His conservative party may want him to be a bit tougher, but that’s just not in his nature. Ben just wants to help everyone around him and he doesn’t care to really concentrate on his own campaign (which is a major one) and needs an incredible amount of funding.
It’s Blind Item Time. See if you can guess the Broward notables! Did you know that Betty the blonde Broward politician is also a trained baker? Yes, only if you are good friends with Betty will you actually get one of these home-made goodies. Betty just baked a wedding cake for an old family friend’s child. A cake so large and so lovingly made, you can’t even assess the value of it.
While most people toss the campaign mailers in their mailbox, I not only read them, I save most of them in a thick folder where I’ve kept them since 2000.
Even though former Lieutenant Colonial Allen West isn’t required to live in his own district to run for Congress, he fled to greener, or should I say “Redder” pastures to the north instead of battling it out on his home turf against Debbie Wasserman Schultz. .
It’s so hard to resist those small plastic bags. Store clerks mindlessly fill them with one or two items, and they can’t help but double or triple bag them as they have become so flimsy. Take a look at people walking out of the grocery store, you will see nothing but a shopping cart full of 10-20 of these.
Just about every city in Broward County has an official website. The city website is a great source of information that saves them time and money by having important information available all in one place so residents can access it easily without contacting their staff. This website may be the first place a potential resident may go to find out more information about the city that they they are moving to or it may be the first place a business goes to find information about the city, or to bid on future projects.
