Coral Springs City Commissioner Dan Daley is inviting all dog lovers out for the inaugural “Bark in the Park” event.
Held at the Dr. Paul’s Dog Park Saturday, October 10, 2015, the event will have plenty of fun for both two and four-legged participants with food and informative booths.
Daley said he had planned a dog-friendly campaign event when he first ran for office, but had to cancel due to weather. This time, he wanted to plan a community event that everyone could enjoy.
“Don’t forget cash because there will be a food truck and beer for purchase,” said Daley who secured La Gringa Loca Food Truck and Wings Plus with beer and wine to be at the venue.
Daley also said that the Coral Springs Police Humane Unit, PetSmart, and the Coral Springs Animal Hospital will be on hand to answer questions and to hand out goodies for attendees.
The event starts at 4:00 p.m and is set to end at 6:30 p.m. but Daley said there will be lights set up so residents can stay later into the night.
The Dr. Paul’s Dog Park is located at 2915 Sportsplex Dr in Coral Springs, FL 33065
