
Coral Glades Boys Lacrosse. {David Volz}
High school lacrosse season in Coral Springs is officially over, following a record-setting season at Coral Glades.
The Coral Glades boys team finished the season 6-5, following a 17-5 loss against Cypress Bay High School in the postseason. However, this was the first time they had a winning season behind a strong senior class in school history.
The seniors featured were Joseph Torregrosa, Austin Allison, Ayden Lockhart, Jorge Galvez, Austin Brucker, Jacob Wolfe, Cameron Hartung, Tyler Gordon, Sterling Sanabria, Ryan Steinberg, Alex Nemargut, Ethan Schwartz, and Brian Nemargut. The Jaguars previously had two wins over J.P. Taravella and Cooper City High School and one against Pompano Beach High School.
The Coral Glades girls team did not qualify for the postseason after finishing with wins over Pompano Beach and Cooper City High School. Their seniors were Joneyshka Rivera, Tristyn Deherrera, Domino Dicarlo, Natalya Gutierrez, Gabriela Diaz, Alexandra Munson, Isabella Brizuela, Nayely-Britney Dinaou, Abigail Forsyth, Camryn Poole, Gianna Cupo, Briana Brown, Lily Zuniga, Rachel Backer, and Sarah Zoughai.
The boys teams from Coral Springs High School and J.P. Taravella did not qualify for the postseason after splitting their two games this year. The Colts won 7-6 in the first matchup and finished the season with two wins. JPT went on to win 4-3 in their first game in the final matchup for their only victory.
