
Coral Glades and Coral Springs High School football teams face off. {David Volz}
Week three of the high school football season featured a rivalry matchup with Coral Glades beating Coral Springs High School for their first win of the season.
The Jaguars won 41-6 and had rushing touchdowns from Romero Williams, Isaac Hilaire, and Joseph Kogon. As a team, Coral Glades had over 304 yards on the ground with Williams recording 154. Tyler Coury tossed a touchdown pass to Michael Hall III while Julian Madrano had two defensive scores.
Definitely, Jayden Snow finished with a team-high eight tackles. Edward Burns had seven, and Ryan Pierre had a sack. Coral Glades also recorded seven turnovers and has 10 through the first three weeks of the season. The Jaguars previously lost to Cooper City and South Plantation High School. They will now play Stranahan High School on Friday, September 12, at 7 p.m. The Mighty Dragons are 0-2, having lost to Dillard and Blanche Ely High School, but won 50-17 in their only meeting with Coral Glades last year.
CSHS is now 0-3 with their other losses coming against Westminster Christian and Nova High School. The Colts will now have their bye week and play South Plantation High School on September 18 at 7 p.m. The Paladins lost to Piper High School in their last game, but won 42-12 during their meeting with CSHS last year.
