The Coral Glades wrestling team competed in Districts at Fort Lauderdale High School on Thursday despite a delayed start to the season.
The Jaguars will have three wrestlers moving on to Regionals: Carlos Garcia Ruiz (HWT) in second, Brandon Davila (145) in third, and Landon Hall (170) in fourth.
Tanner Bruno (152), who finished fifth, will wait to see if he makes regionals as a late addition.
“It means a lot to have three wrestlers qualifying for Regionals,” said Head Coach Cam Thomas. “We are rebuilding this program, and it is great to see many kids have success.”
Next, the Jaguars will compete at Regionals starting on February 26th at G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School in Miami.
