It has been a challenging season for the Coral Springs Charter football team, but the Panthers played well Friday night despite falling to Hallandale High School in the playoffs.
The Panthers fell 19-7 but had a chance late in the game to score a go-ahead touchdown. Unfortunately, they turned the ball over, leading to a touchdown for Hallandale.
Head Coach Matt Garris is extremely thankful for his seven seniors he has been able to coach.
“They are the reason for this season being such a positive experience,” Garris said. “We’ve had some tough losses against some good opponents, and unfortunately, our record doesn’t reflect their accomplishments as men.”
