The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between August 25 and 31, 2025. Please note that the police have redacted the names of victims and addresses of most incidents.
Property Crimes and Incidents
Burglary/Theft from Auto:
A victim on Aug. 25 reported $150 stolen from a vehicle.
On Aug. 25, another burglary from auto resulted in $25 in losses.
On Aug. 27, a victim reported $500 in losses after their vehicle was burglarized .
Fraud and Identity Theft:
Aug. 25: Two fraud cases were reported with losses of $245 and $400 .
Aug. 25: A victim reported extortion/blackmail.
Aug. 25: Identity theft with fraudulent use caused losses to a 23-year-old man.
Aug. 26: Fraud reported with $10,000 loss .
Aug. 27: Multiple identity theft and fraud reports, with one case totaling $9,825 and another $4,417.
Aug. 28: Several fraud reports, including losses of $7,000, $95, $12,000, and $1,658.
Aug. 28: Fraudulent credit card use resulted in $812 in losses.
Aug. 28: An 88-year-old victim reported $264,380 in fraud dating back to 202 .
Aug. 31: Fraud attempts and additional losses were reported, including $7,000 on Aug. 28.
Shoplifting and Retail Theft:
Aug. 26: Publix ($49) and another store ($399) reported shoplifting.
Aug. 26: Publix Supermarket reported $103 in theft.
Aug. 27: Publix ($201) and Best Buy ($449) reported thefts.
Aug. 28: Target ($1,084) and another store ($1,418) reported significant losses.
Aug. 29: A retail theft with $750 in losses and another incident with $450 reported.
Aug. 31: Walmart ($16) reported shoplifting.
Burglary Business:
Aug. 26: Burglary at AT&T store (non-forced entry).
Aug. 31: Burglary at a Sample Road business with $3,000 in losses.
Grand Theft Auto and Related Crimes:
Aug. 26: A grand theft auto reported.
Aug. 26: Theft of auto parts/accessories valued at $1.
Violent and Serious Crimes
Robbery:
Aug. 25: Strongarm robbery reported with $1,504 loss.
Aug. 28: Robbery by sudden snatching, loss of $520.
Battery and Assault:
Multiple domestic battery/touch or strike incidents reported throughout the week (Aug. 25, 27, 28, 30, and 31).
Aug. 28: A victim was battered, case classified as intentional strike.
Aug. 31: Aggravated battery involving Omar Craig Turner as a victim.
Aug. 31: Simple assault also reported.
Written Threats:
Aug. 26: A written threat to conduct a mass shooting was reported.
Aug. 30: Additional written threats reported.
Exposure of Sexual Organs:
Aug. 31: A protected victim reported indecent exposure.
Drug and Alcohol Offenses
Narcotics Possession:
Aug. 27, 28, 30, and 31: Several arrests for narcotics possession, including cocaine and cannabis.
DUI:
Aug. 27: A DUI arrest made for alcohol or drugs, first offense.
Other Incidents
Multiple Baker Acts, missing persons (recovered and endangered), and risk of harm cases were reported throughout the week.
Reports also included domestic disturbances, property damage, and suspicious incidents .
