Residents and business owners in Coral Springs can expect an emergency notification test message this Friday, August 2, at 9:30 a.m., as part of the city’s Alert Coral Springs program.
The alert system, designed to provide rapid updates during emergencies like severe weather, gas leaks, or evacuations, will be tested to ensure its effectiveness.
According to the city, subscribers will receive notifications via text, phone call, email, or all three, depending on their settings.
Upon receipt of the test message, no action is required. Subscribers can manage their settings or sign up for alerts by texting AlertCS to 888-777 or visiting AlertCoralSprings.org.
Regular tests help maintain an accurate contact list and ensure the timely dissemination of critical information.
