The City of Coral Springs will hold its monthly hazardous waste drop-off event from January 7-8 at the Waste Transfer Station located at 12600 Wiles Road.
The event will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, and from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8. Items that will be accepted include paint, fluorescent light bulbs, and electronic equipment.
The Hazard Waste Drop-Off event is part of the City’s continued efforts to offer Coral Springs residents an alternative solution to disposing of dangerous materials. Coral Springs residents may drop off hazardous materials every first full weekend of the month at the Waste Transfer Station.
The station is also open every weekend to residents who want to drop off bulk trash, including appliances, furniture, carpeting, and any recyclable materials.
No commercial waste or raw garbage is accepted at the Waste Transfer Station. This service is free and available to Coral Springs residents only. Please remember that two forms of identification are required for proof of residency.
