Coral Springs High School girls basketball team picked up their 20th win in the opening round of Regionals with a 43-33 win over Doral Academy on Thursday.
“The girls executed the game plan to perfection and I’m proud of them,” said Head Coach Brenton Hankerson. “Also, thank you to Coach Don and Brian for all the help they provide.”
Coming into Regionals as the three seed, the Colts won the District Championship. Now the Colts are 20-5 and will face Boca Raton Community High School in the Regional Semifinals on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m.
The Bobcats are 20-7 and beat Park Vista Community High School in both the District Final and Regional Quarterfinals.
