The Coral Springs High School wrestling team made quite a run at the District Championship after Daniel Johnson and Marco Flores placed first in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday.
Six students in the top four advanced: Kyle Deruiter, Dustin Lubin, and Chris Lindo, placed second, Jeremiah Denis and Bendjy Ferdinand third, and Wistanson Mathurin fourth.
The Colts finished in third behind Marjory Stoneman Douglas and Fort Lauderdale.
Next, CSHS will compete in Regionals starting on February 26 at G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School in Miami.
