Home Field Hobby Shop Brings Sports Card and Memorabilia Haven to Coral Springs

Sports enthusiasts and collectors now have a new go-to spot in Coral Springs with the grand opening of Home Field Hobby Shop on October 5.

According to the owner, Mark Plesher, the 10267 West Sample Road store is a haven for sports enthusiasts. It specializes in a wide range of cards, including baseball, basketball, football, and the ever-popular Pokémon cards.

“We have everything from modern sports cards to vintage cards and a wide array of Pokemon cards,” said Pletcher, adding that they purchased a 1955 Topps baseball card collection and a 1953 Topps Jackie Robinson card.

Home Field Hobby Shop offers opportunities for people who want to sell sports cards and memorabilia. People with an old collection of baseball cards or a helmet autographed by a star player can sell it to the store, according to Plesher.

“Customers can bring in their sports cards, and we will make them an offer. We buy anything from lower-end or value cards to high-end single cards. People bring in exciting stuff,” said Plesher.

According to Plesher, Home Field Hobby Shop is more than just a business, it’s a dream. “I love sports and want to share that passion with our customers. We always strive to ensure our customers leave feeling positive about their experience in our store,” he said.

The store is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
