The Trojans defeated the Eagles during the last match, and the teams honored their seniors. Taravella has some very accomplished senior bowlers, including Zachary Kimbrell, who has achieved a 300-game, a high accomplishment.
“I love bowling, and I hope to continue competing in college said Kimbrell, who plans to study engineering.
According to coach Greg Mason, Marvin Dixon has had a successful bowling career and achieved a 299 game. Bryce Collins has enjoyed many victories, and Rey Mararaj has contributed in a supportive role.
Marjory Stoneman Douglas has achieved many victories this season. According to coach Mike Gregory, the Eagles have worked hard and improved. They honored two seniors, Vicent Ciullo, who has earned a 300 game but not during a high school match and is a leading team member.
According to Gregory, Jonathan Rios has also developed into a strong bowler.
Coral Glades has improved during the season, and coach Joe Catalano says the girls’ and boys’ teams are ranked third among the teams at Bowlero.
According to Catalano, his son Anthony, Lane Brainard, and Jared Dubrow are the leading members of the boys’ team, and Kylee Boyd is a leader on the girls’ team.
The Coral Springs Charter girls’ bowling team earned first place in the BCAA championship. According to Coach Andrew Groothuis, the team has no seniors, but Faith Tucker and Audrey Gold are the team’s leaders.
On October 21, the teams will travel to Boca Raton for the district championship. They will be facing teams from Palm Beach County. According to Mason, if the Trojan bowlers achieve their best games, they can advance to the state finals.
Gregory said MSD can advance if the members bowl an average of at least 190.
