J.P. Taravella volleyball only had two wins during the regular season but picked up their third to start the District Tournament on Monday.
The Trojans defeated Coral Springs High School 25-20, 25-17, 25-20 to advance to the District semifinals, where they will play top-seeded West Boca Raton Community High School on Tuesday, October 19 at 6 p.m.
The winner of that game will play either Coral Glades or Marjory Stoneman Douglas in the Championship on Thursday, October 21.
Coral Springs High School finishes the year with six victories in 21 matches after winning ten in 2020.
